Every new year comes with  a lot if resolution. As we start this year 2016 ,there are some sensational gadgets that are set to release this year here's what we can hope from 2016...

1. VIRTUAL REALITY/AUGMENTED REALITY PHONES:

Many companies be it Google with their Google cardboard or the new entrants Oculus Rift  have been trying to make some virtual reality headsets for quite some time .But no one outside the tech bubble cared about them. This year, they are coming up with better screens and powerful processors capable of playing video at a better rate ,we can see virtual reality finally making it into the mainstream. The second generation of google glass is also set to release soon.

2. WERABLES :

Each and every tech company is trying to bring out the next big thing after the smart phone.Some people think that the next big thing is the virtual reality while other think that it is the era of wearables. let it be a smart watch or shoe anything they dont care is the next mile stone .Apple gave a big boost to this idea by releasing Apple watch 2 last year. Now Sony and Samsung too are in the race so this could well be an intresting year for wearables also.

3. Smart Homes:

Today most of our lives depend on technology 

we randomly use technology to take care of electrical appliances.The only problem is that all the smart appliances are quite expensive.

Touchpad: A touchpad is located on the side of Google Glass, allowing users to control the device by swiping through a timeline-like interface displayed on the screen. Sliding backward shows current events, such as weather, and sliding forward shows past events, such as phone calls, photos, circle updates, etc.
Camera: Google Glass has the ability to take photos and record 720p HD video
Display: The Explorer version of Google Glass uses a liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS)(based on an LCoS chip from Himax), field-sequential color system, LED illuminated display. The display's LED illumination is first P-polarized and then shines through the in-coupling polarizing beam splitter (PBS) to the LCoS panel. The panel reflects the light and alters it to S-polarization at active pixel sensor sites. The in-coupling PBS then reflects the S-polarized areas of light at 45° through the out-coupling beam splitter to a collimating reflector at the other end. Finally, the out-coupling beam splitter (which is a partially reflecting mirror, not a polarizing beam splitter) reflects the collimated light another 45° and into the wearer's eye
